The first decade of my career was spent close to manual work: banking transaction systems at TCS, analytics dashboards at LatentView, retail data science at Quantium. Different industries, same pattern everywhere — skilled people spending most of their day reading, re-typing, and triaging things a system should handle, and the interesting problems waiting in whatever time was left.

When large language models made it possible to automate that kind of work reliably, I already knew exactly where the hours were going. Since then I’ve shipped systems that answer analysts’ questions in seconds, read hospital complaints so staff don’t have to, and — currently at DAMAC in Dubai — handle customer tickets for real estate operations.

The thing I care about most in this work: knowing when the system should be certain and when it should think. Every platform I build has deterministic paths where mistakes are expensive, AI reasoning where judgment is needed, and a human checkpoint wherever the two aren’t enough.
